Today 29 Peel Regional Police recruits sworn in as Police Constables by Honourable Justice Paul T. O' Marra in Peel Police Recruit Graduation Ceremony.
The ceremony was held in noon at the Emil V. Kolb Centre for Police Excellence located in Mississauga.
The Graduation Ceremony of Peel Regional Police was started by Peel Regional Police Chaplain Inderpal Singh after reading Shalok of 5th guru, Guru Arjan Dev Ji.
He read shalok to provide spiritual support to the newly recruited constables.
The new officers have successfully completed 21 weeks of training which occured at the Ontario Police College and the Peel Regional Police Training Bureau.

Members from the Police Services Board- Chair Amrik Ahluwalia, Ms. Norma Nicholson and Councillor Sue Mac Fadden graced the ceremony.
Chief Jennifer Evans presented the officers with their badges.
Following the graduation the Constables were assigned to training officers at operational divisions, where they will enter the final phase of their training.
