Const. Lori Murphy said as a result of the “brawl,” some property inside the mall was damaged, but no shots were fired.

“There were a lot of people in there,” she said, noting that it's that time of year for Christmas shopping and the mall was busier than usual.

Shoppers reported on social media they were running from the mall once the fight broke out. Some went to their cars while others scurried outside.

Lisa Lombardi, one of shoppers said, “There was a gun that was apparently pulled out.We got the hell out of there.”

Police dogs also responded to the mall in search of clues.
