21 year old female arrested in Serious Fail to Remain Collision
Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau have arrested a female involved in a Fail to Remain collision that left a 45 year-old Brampton woman in serious condition.
On Monday April 2, 2018 shortly after 10:00 p.m., the victim was crossing Steeles Avenue at Bramalea Road in Brampton when she was struck by a motor vehicle. The vehicle did not stop and fled the scene.
Linda PRAKASH, a 45 year-old female from Brampton, was transported to a Toronto Trauma Centre where she remains in serious condition.
Ms. PRAKASH sustained a fractured femur, two broken legs, fractured pelvis, several broken ribs and a fractured skull when she was hit by a small black car as she crossed Steeles Avenue at Bramalea Road in Brampton.
On Thursday April 5, 2018, Tiffany KEDDIE, a 21 year-old female from Brampton was arrested and charged with Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident Cause Bodily Harm under the Criminal Code of Canada. KEDDIE was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of Monday May 7, 2018 at the A. Grenville and William Davis Court in the City of Brampton.
