21-year-old man Arrested for sending death threats to producer Sandeep Singh

Mumbai Police arrested a 21-year-old man in Bihar for sending death threats to producer Sandeep Singh on Facebook. The suspect, identified as Krishna Murari, was arrested by police on Saturday.

On July 7, Sandeep Singh filed a complaint with a local police station in Mumbai after receiving a death threat on Facebook that he will be murdered like Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

After two months of investigation, the Mumbai Police have made the arrest. Amboli Police officials brought the suspect to Mumbai on Sunday for further case procedures.

The threat read (roughly translated from Hindi), “Don’t worry, just like Sidhu Moose Wala was shot, you will be killed in the same way, wait and remember.”

Sandeep Singh is a well-known Indian film producer known for some of his remarkable films like Mary Kom, Sarbjit, PM Narender Modi and recently released Jhund. He founded the film production company Legends studios in 2015.
