$530,000 announced in support of the South Asian Autism Alliance Centre (SAAAC).

The Minister of Children and Youth Services, Michael Coteau announced $530,000 towards the South Asian Autism Alliance Centre (SAAAC) today in  Scarborough.

The funds will be used in Ontario's endeavour to provide support for counselling, workshops and peer support for parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Scarborough's SAAAC ( South Asian Autism Awareness Centre).

The investment announced today adds on to the new Ontario Autism Program which began in June 2017. With these the province is trying to help parents and caregivers develop the skills needed to support child and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder to help them thrive and reach their full potential.
