A 28-year-old kabaddi player from Punjab passes away from cardiac arrest in Canada




A 28 year old kabaddi player from Punjab’s Moga Amarpreet Singh Amri died of cardiac arrest at Surrey in Canada on Monday.

An expert raider in kabaddi, Amarpreet Singh Amri was from the Patto Hira Singh village in the Nihal Singh Wala subdivision of the Moga district who went to Canada to get married there in December last year.

His family members said Amri’s death just weeks after his wedding was “shocking”.

Whether his body will be sent to his place of origin for cremation or not has not been made public by the family.
