The rights of migrants are advocated by one group which has cautioned the change in policy from which a very small portion of people in Canada does not possess permanent immigration.
Mendicino gave a statement in a virtual news conference that, “Since COVID-19 first arrived, and a course guide by North Star has been charted for which immigration is a key to Canada's short-term economic recovery with the long term prosperity.”
He further added, "Fundamentally, we know that by attracting and retaining the best and also the brightest ... we will get more jobs, much growth, and diversity to our economy."
The eligibility criteria for this policy is that workers must hold one year of Canadian work experience in any of the 40 various health care jibs or 95 different pre-approved essential jobs.
