The much-anticipated film "Bad Newz," featuring Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri, and Ammy Virk, made its theatrical debut on 19 July 2024. "Bad News is a film that offers something new when it comes to concept, but a better direction would have made the film amazing. However, the performance of the lead actors saves the movie," wrote Murtuza Iqbal.

"Strictly below average. The 1st half seems promising only because of Vicky Kaushal. The 2nd half is a train wreck. If you wanna watch it, do it only for Vicky. He put his heart and soul into his character. Otherwise, wait for OTT," commented Mrigank.
