Health Canada is placing ads on Facebook to find more Indigenous children to help with their medical needs, including wheelchairs, hearing aids, home care and help with disabilities.

The step is an after effect of the criticism the department faced for the slow roll-out of new funds earmarked to close gaps in care for First Nations children.
