On Monday, October 26, 2020, at approximately 7:18 a.m., uniformed officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded for a call for service in the area of Charleston Side Road and Highway 10 in the Town of Caledon.
Information was received that a female party was being held against her will in the basement of a residence near Charleston Side Road, Police say.
The responding officers attended the address and assisted the victim, who was being held against her will.
As a result of police investigation, Amritpal KONER, 33, of Caledon was arrested and charged with:
Obtaining sexual services for consideration;
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on January 7, 2021, to answer to the charges.
