
The song “Mann Bharrya” from “Shershaah” by Bollywood singer B Praak won the Best Playback Singer- Male prize at the 67th Filmfare Awards.

The song was a new rendition of a popular song composed and sung by B Praak for the biography drama film “Shershaah,” starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. The emotive track was played at the film’s burial scene for the character played by Sidharth, and it was well appreciated by the audience.
Sunny Kaushal and Sayyami Kher presented B Praak’s award for ‘Mann Bharryaa 2.0.’ However, because the singer was unable to attend the event, Vishnu Vardhan accepted the award on his behalf.
Jaani wrote the song, which has had over 200 million YouTube views. At the 67th Filmfare awards, “Shershaah” received the most nominations. The movie also won awards for Best Action, Best Playback Singer—Female, and Best Editing.
The film’s premiere was held exclusively on Amazon Prime Video and was produced by Karan Johar, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in the key roles.

The film “Shershaah,” which was directed by Vishnuvaradhan, is based on the story of Vikram Batra, a Param Vir Chakra awardee who gave his life in the line of duty while defending Indian Territory from Pakistani invaders during the Kargil War in 1999.
Producing the movie were Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment, together with Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shabbir Boxwala, Ajay Shah, and Himanshu Gandhi.
