Ayaz Bhatti, 31, Brampton Truck driver killed in Highway 17 crash

Ayaz Bhatti, a Brampton truck driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash in northern Ontario Sunday night, Oct. 15.

OPP officers say they were called to a section of the TransCanada Highway around 9 p.m. after a transport truck hit a rock cut between Jackfish Hill and the Steel River Bridge. The Highway 17 crash happened east of Terrace Bay.The driver Ayaz Bhatti was  pronounced dead at the scene.

The case is being investigated.
