Brampton Transit fare changes effective March 5, Monday
• Enhancing core services to offer increased value to residents and businesses:
o Transit: 31 new buses to serve growth areas; 34 new Züm buses to expand bus rapid transit and improve connections to regional transit
o Fire: New fire trucks and firefighters; a fully centralized fire campus, including fire station, training facility, emergency operations centre and a new headquarters
o Recreation: Launch STEM (Engineering and Robotic) recreation programs for ages 3 to 14; expand and improve community centres
o Secondary Unit Task Force: Dedicated team to focus on illegal second unit housing, lodging houses, and group homes
o Interim Library Branch: Expand services with a new BramWest (Embleton) interim location in advance of the combined facility community centre
