Bus driver fired after disabled student locked in school bus for 6 hours.

A Toronto school bus driver has been suspended after a young disabled woman, Wendy Mastache, 19 was locked inside a school bus for six hours.

Wendy who has both autism and epilepsy, has difficulty communicating. She can't read or write due to developmental delays, and doesn't talk much.

Laura Mastache, Wendy's mother shared that the school bus driver somehow didn't see her daughter on the bus, where she was left for six hours after locking the vehicle and walking away.

Laura says that Wendy is traumatized and doesn't want to get in the bus.

Laura Mastache is demanding policy changes from the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), which has issued a statement saying "this will not happen again."
