Crime on rise: Teen stabbed at Century Gardens Recreation Centre, Brampton

A teen was stabbed yesterday (Friday night)  in Brampton, which sent him to a trauma centre.

A 16-year-old male was stabbed at Century Gardens Recreation Centre at about 7:35 p.m. Friday, June 22, said Peel Const. Akhil Mooken. The call came in at 10:01 p.m.

The youth is in stable condition, Mooken added.

Police tactical squad and canine unit were called in to investigate. There is currently no suspect information.
