Armaan Malik and His Wives Skip 'Bigg Boss 18': The Behind-the-Scenes Drama Unveiled

In a notable turn of events, popular YouTuber Armaan Malik, together with his two wives, Payal and Kritika, made a noteworthy appearance on the reality television show *Bigg Boss OTT 3*. The show, which premiered in June of this year and concluded on August 2, was hosted by the celebrated actor Anil Kapoor. The trio, however, faced considerable controversy and criticism due to their unconventional family dynamics, with accusations of promoting polygamy surfacing as a significant issue.

Despite the intense scrutiny and backlash, the Malik family did not manage to clinch victory. Sana Makbul emerged as the winner of *Bigg Boss OTT 3*, while Kritika Malik managed to secure a spot in the top five. Armaan and Payal Malik, however, were eliminated earlier in the competition. Following the conclusion of the show, Payal Malik took to her vlog to reveal that Kritika had been approached with an offer to join Salman Khan's *Bigg Boss 18*. The vlog also shed light on an internal disagreement between Payal and Kritika regarding participation in the new season.

In her latest vlog, Payal Malik firmly stated that none of the Malik family members would be part of *Bigg Boss 18*. She articulated, "While we appreciate the immense love from our supporters and understand that many wish to see us on *Bigg Boss 18*, we have collectively decided against participating in reality shows where our married life becomes the central focus. Such platforms often shift attention away from individual performance and concentrate on our personal relationships."

Payal further elaborated, "On the show, viewers tend to focus solely on the fact that we are a family of three and that Armaan has been married twice, rather than on the merits of our individual contributions. We have decided not to join *Bigg Boss*, but we remain open to considering other reality show opportunities should they arise."

This decision comes in the wake of considerable trolling that Armaan Malik experienced during his previous stint on the show. The Maliks' choice reflects a conscious effort to avoid being reduced to a spectacle, instead opting for opportunities that allow for a more nuanced portrayal of their individual selves.
