Gurujas Kaur Khalsa wins Grammy for Mystic Mirror featuring Shabad from Guru Granth Sahib

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards' Premiere ceremony in Los Angeles saw Khalsa win the Best New Age Album category for Mystic Mirror

The chants on the album “Mystic Mirror” by Gurujas Kaur Khalsa of the White Sun were recognized with a Grammy Award.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards’ Premiere ceremony in Los Angeles saw Khalsa win the Best New Age Album category for “Mystic Mirror”. The album includes shabad from the Guru Granth Sahib.

“We just won a GRAMMY for our album “Mystic Mirror” in the New Age, Ambient or Chant Category. We want to thank the @recordingacademy not only for the beautiful awards ceremony but also for all the amazing work they do on behalf of music creators,” wrote @WhiteSunMusic.

At the Grammy Awards, the three artists Adam Berry, Gurujas, and Harijiwan—appeared on stage dressed in their signature white attire.

Gurujas acknowledged the Academy and stated, “Thank you so much; I’m going to cry. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the making of this record, especially our producers. It is truly an honor and privilege to stand alongside you guys. That means we have a greater obligation to spread kindness and love on Earth.”
