Honda recalls millions of Accord vehicles amid problem in batteries.

The Japanese automaker Honda is recalling around 1.5 million Accord models globally after discovering a defect with the vehicle’s battery system.

The recall covers Accords from the 2013 to 2016 model years.

The company says it has 4 reports of engine compartment fires and all incidents took place in US where salt is used to clean roads in winters.

As part of the recall dealers will inspect the sensors and will replace the faulty ones.
