Steven Finn has signed a multi-year, all-format contract with Sussex Cricket. At the end of the current season, the 32-year-old right-arm seamer will join the team from Middlesex. Finn started the Sussex squad is plenty of great talent and he can't wait to work hard and assist the team reaches its maximum potential after signing his contract. "From the 2022 season forward, I am looking forward to the opportunity to play for Sussex. It's a club I've always loved and found to be a formidable opponent "Finn remarked in a statement.

"The squad is loaded with tremendous talent, and I'm looking forward to working hard and helping the team reach its maximum potential," he said. Steve requires no introduction, having taken 254 wickets in 126 outings for England in all three forms. He was a key member of England's ODI side that won the ICC ODI rankings in 2012 and participated in both the 2012 World T20 and the 2015 World Cup.

"It's terrific to be able to lure a player of Steven's calibre to Hove," Sussex Championship and One-Day head coach Ian Salisbury remarked of Finn's upcoming arrival at the 1st Central County Ground.

"He's enthusiastic about the project we're working on down here and wants to use his skills and knowledge to assist us get to where we want to be in two or three years: competing on all fronts. Whether it's with Middlesex or England, Steve understands how to win " he said.

Steve has been ranked number two in the ICC ODI Bowling Rankings, number five in the IT20 rankings, and number 14 in the Test rankings during his international career.

James Kirtley, Sussex's T20 head coach, added: "We've talked about bowling a lot, and I'm really looking forward to working with him. Steve is eager to play for Sussex; he admires what we're doing and was adamant about wanting to assist our young bowlers."
