In Vaughan, Ontario, a shooting left 6 people dead, including the suspect
After a shooting in Vaughan, Ontario, on Sunday night, six people were killed, including a male suspect who died during an interaction with police, and another is in the hospital with critical but not life-threatening injuries.

It took place in a condo complex on Jane Street and Rutherford Road, according to York Regional Police (YRP).
Several victims had been shot and murdered when police arrived, said the police, and the suspect was also shot and killed after coming into contact with them.
Officers were clearing the building, according to MacSween, who also stated that "no further threat to the community at this point" remained.
The homicide unit of the York police is looking into it.
"It's going to take us some time to figure out the motive in this inquiry and what brought this guy here," MacSween added.
