Infocus on Monday, May 8th at 7:30 PM with Balpreet Singh

InFocus focuses this week on “The Experience of Sikh Students in Peel”, a report released by World Sikh Organisation on issues faced by Sikh students in Ontario’s Peel District School Board (PDSB).

The report is based on survey results of over 300 young people between the ages of 5 and 17. The report finds that 27% of Sikh students surveyed reported being bullied for their Sikh identity.
