Some lanes are blocked on Highway 410 in Mississauga following a a fatality . Police investigation is underway.

According to Peel Police twitter account , one person has died in the area of Highway 410 and Derry Road East at around 4.24 a.m this morning and SIU is invoking their mandate in relation to this incident.

Road Closures Information :

- Derry Road Eastbound and Westbound is open

-Westbound Derry Road to 410 South is closed

-Eastbound Derry to 410 is open

- Ramp to S/B 410 from E/B Derry Rd is opening up

-Lane restrictions Eastbound Derry Road

-Plan ahead find alternative routes

-closure will be in place for the next 2 hours
