Loaded Firearm and Drugs Located, Toronto Man Charged

Region of Peel – Officers from the Peel Regional Police Strategic and Tactical Enforcement Program (STEP) have charged a Toronto man with drug and firearm related offences after a loaded firearm was located inside a vehicle in Mississauga.

On Sunday, October 31, 2021, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers from STEP investigated a 23-year-old man in a vehicle near an establishment in the area of Eglinton Avenue East and Dixie Road in the City of Mississauga.

As a result, officers seized a loaded Glock 20 handgun and arrested and charged Roshawn Morgan-Rose, a 23-year-old man from Toronto. He was charged with firearm and drug related offences, held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Monday, November 1, 2021.
