A 27-year-old Brampton, Ont., man was arrested and charged following two shootings in separate areas of the city that left two men dead and one woman seriously injured, Peel Regional Police said.
Patrick Doyle made a brief appearance in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Monday, charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
As charges against Doyle were read out in court, a woman began crying out loud, according to a CBC reporter in the courtroom.
Clifford Correia, 27, and Derrick McKeown, 33, were the two men killed. A woman remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.
