Man arrested for ‘sexual assault’ on two women in Brampton




In a major development, the police have arrested a man in connection with the recent sexual assault case related to a Brampton employer.

According to information, the Brampton employer had posted a job opportunity on an online platform.

As per the report, a woman in her 20s attended her new office, on March 28, located in a residential area of Bovaird Drive West and Worthington Avenue in Brampton.

Allegedly, the woman was sexually assaulted by her new employer, the police said, adding that the woman received no physical injuries.

It has also been alleged that on March 28 and 29, another woman in her 20s attended the same office, and was also sexually assaulted but suffered no physical injuries.

The police have arrested a 46-year-old Brampton man who is also charged with two counts of Sexual Assault. The man has been identified as Daljinder Phagura who is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on June 1, 2022.

Police believe there may be more victims of sexual assault.
