A Caledon man is facing charges in connection with a collision in Brampton that claimed the lives of one woman and two children last month.
The crash between an SUV and sports car happened on Aug. 4 at about 9 p.m.
A 47-year-old woman from Vaughan was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 12-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy, also from Vaughan were rushed to the hospital where they were also pronounced dead.
Peel police did not say what the relationship was between the three deceased victims.
Three other people were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the driver of the sports car, a 45-year-old man, faces charges including three counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
He is scheduled to appear in a Brampton court on Oct. 22.
