Peel Police officers  received several 911 calls and made the discovery just before 3:40 p.mon March 7.

Peel Const. Iryna Yashnyk said it’s too early to determine whether foul play factored into the death.

“It’s suspicious at this point in the investigation,” she said.

Witnesses on scene say it appears a tow truck driver who arrived on scene to remove a car from the parking lot made the discovery.

Residents in the area expressed their concern on social media.

“There’s yellow tape all over the plaza,” said Tweeter Kathy Zawadzkie. “It’s frightening. Lots of police cars and fire trucks.”

Police are canvassing the area for witnesses and forensics officers will be examining the scene.Family members arrived on scene and could be seen consoling each other.

Mandeep Tagger, 25, was last seen at 12:08 a.m. on Friday March 2 in the area of Oaklea Boulevard and Tumbleweed Trail in Brampton.
