Manitoba Premier adds a new member to his Cabinet.

Premier Brian Pallister has added  one member to his cabinet  bringing the total to 13 and has also split the Indigenous and Municipal relations portfolio to two separate departments.

Gimli MLA Jeff Wharton added in cabinet to head Municipal Relations.

When Pallister took office in 2016, Pallister shrunk the size of cabinet by one-third compared to the former NDP government.
