Meet the Candidates for Brampton West riding for Ontario Provincial Election
As Brampton voters are all set to vote on June 7, let us take a look at Candidates for Brampton West riding, the only electoral district that still remains following the realignment that saw Brampton go from three to five ridings for the 2018 Ontario Election.
Liberal MPP Vic Dhillon has held the seat since it was created in 2007.
Vic Dhillon has lived in Brampton, Ontario for most of his life. He has a degree in Business Administration from Lakehead University, and helped found a family-owned business in Mississauga after his graduation.
NDP: Jagroop Singh
Jagroop Singh is the director of Ontario’s Aggregate Trucking Association.
PC: Amarjot Singh Sandhu
Amarjot spent three years working as a network analyst with a telecommunications company before becoming a realtor with Royal Lepage Flower City in Brampton.
Communist Party: Surjit Sahota
Green Party: Julie Guillemet-Ackerman
