Pekkle baby PJs pulled from Costco stores after complaint that child was scratched.

Costco has pulled Pekkle infant sleepwear from its Canadian stores after getting complaint on April 11 from a parent that a child's skin was scratched by a snap when it detached from a sleeper.

Costco says it's waiting for word from Health Canada and Lemur Inc., the Montreal-based company that owns the Pekkle line and manufactures the clothing in China.

The company says as soon as it learned about the incident, it voluntarily recalled all Pekkle clothing that could be affected.

However Health Canada has not issued a formal recall and says it will decide if further action is required after reviewing the case.
