Police Seek the Assistance of the Public in Identifying Suspect in Cell Phone Theft

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau seek the publics' assistance to identify suspects involved in a theft of cell phones in the City of Brampton.

On December 22, 2020, at approximately 6:17 p.m., four suspects entered a mobile device store area of Main Street and Steeles Avenue in Brampton.

While the manager's attention was diverted by one of the suspects, the other three suspects proceeded to open the display case, selected fourteen high valued Apple Iphones, and fled the store. The value of stolen devices is over $16,000.

The four suspects are described as:

# 1 - South Asian, 18-22 years old, wearing a black zip-up sweater with 3 logo's on the left chest, skull print on the back, and black track pants with a symbol on the left thigh, and black shoes with white sole's and a blue surgical mask.

#2- South Asian, 18-22 years old, wearing a white "Guess" tracksuit with a black stripe on the arms and legs, black shoes, and a blue surgical mask.

#3 - South Asian, 18-22 years old, wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, white writing along the left sleeve, ripped blue jeans, and white shoes, wearing a blue surgical mask.

#4 - South Asian 18-22 years old, black zip-up hoodie with a blue design on the left chest, black jeans, and black shoes with white sole's, wearing a black surgical mask.
