Public’s Assistance Sought In Sexual Assault Investigation

Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit are seeking assistance from the public in relation to sexual assaults in the area of Lakefront Promenade and Lakeshore Road East in the City of Mississauga.

On Monday, October 8th, 2018 at 5 p.m., an adult female was sexually assaulted by an individual on a bicycle along the pathway within Lakefront Promenade in Mississauga.

The investigation has revealed that the same individual is believed to be responsible for a separate sexual assault at this location that occurred several days prior.

Investigators believe that this individual may have committed similar acts in this area and ask anyone with information to contact Peel Regional Police.
