
The RCMP have arrested and charged two women with importing cocaine to Hamilton. A shipment allegedly containing about 2.2 kilograms of cocaine was packed and concealed in spice bags with address of Hamilton written on them at the Paris Orly Airport by Customs officials.
On Oct. 10, officers arrested two women Renee Verlint, 50, and Denise Lam, 44. They have been charged with importation of a controlled substance into Canada.

Barry Dolan, officer in charge of the RCMP Toronto Airport Detachment said,“ Those who produce and traffic illicit drugs destroy lives, homes, and communities.”
