Member of Parliament for Brampton North, Ruby Sahota spoke about how she spoke in the House of Commons on the occasion of 10 years since the end of the war in Sri Lanka.
Sahota had asked Minister Chrystia Freeland regarding the actions the government is taking to hold those responsible to account for the atrocities committed.
“This year we mark 10 years since the end of the war in Sri Lanka. I rose in the House of Commons to ask Minister @cafreeland how our Government is holding those responsible to account for the atrocities committed?” she tweeted.
