Sikh Educational Society made winning debut at the 41st Annual Indy International Festival on the middle day of the three-day event at the Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Indiana State Fair.
Organized by Nationalities Council of Indiana, the Festival provided an opportunity to the visitors to learn arts, culture, customs and traditions of the other countries. Facilties for applying passport and getting birth certificates were also available.
More than 50 ethnic or national affinity organisations plus other groups, businesses, and individuals interested in focusing on central Indiana’s diversity will host booths at the event.The event presents the unique opportunity to travel the world in just a few steps. At every turn, a different culture is represented with colorful displays, traditional dress, music, movement and dance, and food and drink.
