The Geary Art Crawl festival is back in Toronto for the second year
The wait is over for one of the much awaited events, the Geary Art Crawl. The finest combination of art, music and culture is back again for its second year for a two-day celebration in the streets of Toronto on September 24 and 25.
The rain or shine festival shuts down Geary Avenue from Ossington to west of Dufferin with pop-ups, live music, visual art exhibits, and a variety of food vendors.
The first Geary Art Crawl was produced by Uma Nota Culture in 2021 with partners Art Spin, The Music Gallery, All Ours, Promise and Lula Music and Arts. The event was a huge success with the local neighbourhood.
Last year's event had an estimated 30,000 visitors. The festival's second edition is scheduled to take place next month, and more people are expected to light up the streets.
The Geary Art Crawl has two areas specifically designated for food sellers, the Marketplace and Geary Food Court, which are bustling with live music, picnic tables, and lighting that creates a dynamic environment.
The free-entry festival is scheduled to run from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. on September 24 and 25.
