This week the Government of Canada relaunched the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program.

CSJ provides funding for not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers and small businesses with up to 50 or fewer employees. Not-for-profit employers can receive up to 100 percent of the provincial/territorial minimum hourly as well as employment-related costs. Public-sector employers and small businesses can receive up to 50 percent of the provincial/territorial minimum hourly wage.

This year, applications are being accepted online from December 7, 2016 until January 20, 2017, with students starting their jobs as early as April 2017.
