Two females stabbed in Brampton, female suspect wanted
Two females are in serious condition in hospital after they were both stabbed outside a Brampton home Sunday night (June 24). Paramedics said they arrived to find two females suffering from stab wounds. Both were rushed to hospital with serious injuries but are expected to survive.
Peel Police are looking for a female suspect after officers were called to the area of Remembrance and McLaughlin roads in Brampton, between Wanless Drive and Mayfield Road, just before 6:30 p.m. for a report of a stabbing.
Peel Const. Iryna Yashnyk said the stabbing occurred after some sort of argument that escalated.Female suspect hunted after double stabbing outside Brampton home.
Yashnyk described it as an isolated incident and said that both victims are known to the suspect.
Neighbours in the area said the neighbourhood has seen a few scary incidents in recent weeks, including a robbery last week on nearby Bramtrail Gate.
Prima Bhatia shared, “Too much violence in this area lately and it’s making me really nervous.”
