Van truck collision on southern Alberta highway : 4 dead, 6 injured

Last day, emergency crews responded to a call at 7 am to a location near the Old Man River crossing. It was following the reports of head-on collision that happened on Highway 36 north of the town of Taber.

Cpl.Deanna Fontaine of the Southern Alberta District RCMP briefed about this incident and said,"A southbound pickup truck had collided with a northbound passenger van." "The lone occupant of the truck, the driver of the van and two passengers of the van were pronounced deceased and six other occupants of the van have been assessed on scene by EMS and transported to various hospitals."
