Vancouver Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan attracts many
Huge crowds came out to the Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade on April 14 to celebrate one of Sikhism’s most celebrated holidays.
Vaisakhi marks the beginning of the harvest season in India. In addition, it marks the birth of Khalsa in 1699.
The Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade embarked from the KDS Ross Sikh Temple and made its way through East Vancouver.
It was a gathering that saw plenty of smiles, lots of colours, and plenty of delicious bites.
Photos and videos uploaded on social media give us a glimpse into the celebrations that took place.
