Vibrant Festival of Colours gala supports cardiac care at Markham Stouffville Hospital.The Gulshan and Pyrali G. Nanji Family Foundation present a cheque to Jo-anne Marr and Suzette Strong of MSH.
Colourful Indian attire filled the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites as 500 guests came together to help transform cardiac care at Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH).
The Festival of Colours was presented by RBC, in partnership with leaders of the South Asian community.
Dr. Ajai Pasricha, MSH general internist, helped kick off the fundraising with a live equipment appeal that raised more than $150,000 in support of the purchase of a new echocardiography system.
Co-Chair event Nita Shastri said, “It is incredible to witness the community come together to help make a lasting impact on the lives of the many patients who turn to MSH in their time of need.There is nothing more beautiful than the hope of saving one more life.”
