Peel Regional Police say that a “young female” was awoken Saturday morning by a stranger in her Mississauga bedroom who sexually assaulted her.
Police would not say if the victim was a child, and would only describe her as a “young person,” according to Const. Bancroft Wright.
It happened at 7 a.m. in a home in the area of Hartfield Grove and Warren Drive.
The victim awoke to a man in her bedroom who sexually assaulted her and then fled.
He is described only as white and approximately 20 years old.
The victim was taken to a Toronto hospital for assessment.
