Züm to the subway starting December 17
Starting December 17, Brampton Transit’s Züm Queen will provide direct service to two subway stations on the newly opened TTC Line 1 Subway Extension.Following are the details:
· 501 Züm Queen will stop at the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre subway station
· 501 and 501A/C Züm Queen will continue to serve York University with no changes to existing stops. The York University subway station is located just south of the bus stops.
Transit ridership is up by an unprecedented 17 per cent in Brampton, making it one of the fastest-growing transit systems in Canada. Enhancing this infrastructure and building regional connections are key in accommodating this demand.
