Capt Amarinder Singh mourns sad demise of former minister Gurdev Singh Badal
Chandigarh: The Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former Cabinet Minister Mr. Gurdev Singh Badal (85), who passed away in a private hospital at Ludhiana after a prolonged illness, this morning.
In condolence message, Captain Amarinder Singh said that he was pained to learn about the sad demise of eight time MLA and veteran Akali leader, who served the state especially the weaker sections of society with firm commitment and dedication.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family besides their friends and relatives, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength and courage to them to bear this irreparable loss in this hour of grief.
