Hundreds show support for victims of Edmonton attacks

With police providing security around 300  Edmontonians  gathered at a vigil in Edmonton's Churchill Square on Sunday after two suspected terror attacks in the city Saturday night.

Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson, Alberta Premier Rachel Notley, Education Minister Dave Eggen and federal Infrastructure Minister Amarjeet Sohi were among the supporters.

Iveson addressed  the crowd, "We stand together.All faiths, all cultures. We will not be divided."

A 30-year-old Edmonton man has been arrested on ten criminal charges in connection with the attack, including terrorism offences, after a pair of attacks injured at least five across Edmonton on Saturday night. He is currently being questioned by police.The man facing charges is a refugee from Somalia.
