Two Males Arrested for Possession of Stolen Property and Flight from Police
Region of Peel – Officers from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau arrested and charged two males for possession of stolen property and flight from police in Brampton.
On July 9, 2018 police located a stolen vehicle in the area of Glidden Road and West Drive in the City of Brampton. Investigation into the vehicle revealed that it was involved in a pursuit and ramming of a police vehicle with Halton Police on July 9, 2018.
With the assistance of the tactical unit the vehicle was stopped at 153 Van Kirk Drive in Brampton where the two parties were arrested. During the vehicle stop the involved driver rammed tactical truck’s causing extensive damage to several vehicles. No injuries were sustained during the arrest.
Mandeep Pannu a 33-years-old male of no fixed addressed was arrested on July 10th, 2018 and charged with 2 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Opioid. He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Harpreet Singh a 38-years-old male from Brampton was arrested on July 10th, 2018 and charged with Possession Property Obtained by Crime, Flight from Police Officer, 2 counts of Operation While Disqualified and Breach of Probation Order. He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
